Greenhouse Assistant

You may be just the person we are looking for! New England Nurseries is seeking a full time Greenhouse Assistant to assist in plant sales, greenhouse maintenance and in positive customer experiences. Knowledge of tropical plants is necessary, including identification and care. Greenhouse experience required. Great customer service skills are required. Additional hours are available in the garden center for the right applicant. Retail Nursery Sales

New England Nurseries is seeking enthusiastic sales associates with broad horticultural knowledge and retail experience to assist in plant sales and positive customer experiences. Knowledge of trees and shrubs, as well as annuals and perennials is desirable, but we will train the right candidates. Duties include customer assistance, plant maintenance, loading purchases, unloading trucks, stocking plants, as well as other duties. The ability to operate small equipment a plus.

 

 

 

Landscape Crew Leader

New England Nurseries is growing again and seeking a qualified foreman to help manage our Landscape Crew. Candidates must have 3-5 years experience as a foreman and a working knowledge of plant material and hardscaping. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to provide great customer service required. A CDL, Hoisting, and Pesticide license a plus.

We are seeking motivated individuals with experience for these full time seasonal and permanent positions. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1-3 years experience, a clean driving record and a positive work ethic for this physically demanding position. Knowledge of plant material, hardscape installation and ability to operate small equipment a plus.
