Meet Our Farm Friends
There's more to see in New England than just plants! When you walk around our garden center, you'll meet some of our friendly resident animals who (we hope) will add a special charm to your visit. Read more below to learn about our four-legged garden family!
Callie
Nursery Guard.
Nothing gets past Callie, unless she's sleeping. Which she does, a lot. When she's not prowling around you can find her sleeping in the Atrium or our Garden Shop.
Fluffernutter
Grandpa of the Nursery.
Fluff came from the MSPCA. He's over 13-years old, which makes him more than 90 in human years. He's wobbly on his feet, but well cared for.
Chickens
Silly Birds.
Our spring chicks are now big, healthy chickens. They enjoy riding on the backs of the goats, and snuggling in the goat pen with Fluffernutter.
Ben and Jerry
Dwarf Nigerian Goats.
Ben & Jerry are a bonded pair, meaning they share a deep and special connection. Bonded pairs often display unique behaviors, such as calling out to each other, waiting to eat together, and showing mutual companionship.
