Hydroseeding 2011 Retail Price List Hydroseeding is a cost-efficient and effective way to apply seed, fertilizer, and mulch in one single application. How to measure the area to be hydroseeded: To determine your cost, measure the area to be hydroseeded by multiplying the length times the width. This will give you the total square footage. The square footage you quote is what you will be billed for. If the actual area exceeds your quote, your bill will be adjusted accordingly. Retail Price List Prices include seed (custom mix), water-soluble fertilizer, mulch, and water. Square Footage Price 1-2500 $350 2501-5000 $475 5001-7500 $650 7501-10000 $775 10001 and above $.08 per sq. ft. Tackifier (optional) $.01 per sq. ft. ($75 min.) Substance used to help hydroseed adhere to landscape- primarily used for hills and slopes. Tupersan (optional) $.01 per sq.ft. ($75 min.) Pre-emergent weed control. Watering & Fertilizer Recommendations: Hydroseed should be watered two to three times per day for the first month as needed to keep mulch constantly moist; excessive puddling should not occur. The amount of time required per watering will vary depending on soil conditions and time of the year. An application of starter fertilizer is recommended one month after seeding. After grass is established, the equivalent of 1-2 inches of rain per week is required for proper growth. No guarantee against washouts.
